A-Rod To Remain a Yankee, Sayeth Scott Boras

11
Vote

Scott Boras, super-agent and rep of Alex Rodriguez, says that Yankee GM Brian Cashman has no plans to move A-Rod. Boras told the New York Daily News that (a) Cashman "has no intention of trading Alex" and (b) that Boras reminded Cashman of A-Rod's no-trade clause.

Whether the above proves true is anyone's guess.

Of course he'll remain a Yankee... Brian Cashman is not THAT stupid! WHO could you possibly replace him (and his production at third) with? In other important news, the sun came up today and the moon IS still orbiting the earth...

the yankees don't need Arod's production. They need someone who will be good in the big spots. Without A-Rod the yanks lineup is still disgusting: Damon, Jeter, Abreu, Giambi, Matsui, Posada, Cano, Melky (DH), 3B

They got a good deal, honestly. And let's face it, they only made the playoffs in 2005 because of him.

True, they got a good deal for his regular season production. I wonder if they got a good deal when you consider other factors. The constant booing at Yankee Stadium and the rest of the anti-arod backlash.
