A-Fraud

Now more than ever in my eyes is A-Rod the biggest phony in sports. Does anyone really believe that A-Rod is serious when he says he

> "After spending time with Cynthia and my family over these last few weeks, it became clear to me that I needed to make an attempt to engage the Yankees regarding my future with the organization."

What future are you referring to A-Rod? You mean the one you could have had but you decided to opt out of contract? Ya know, when you wouldn't let the Yankees even come to the negotiating table.

If you truly wanted to stay a Yankee A-Rod you would have. You would have told Scott Boras to go to hell and that you didn't care about money. That you cared about building a legacy on the most legendary team in all of sports.

But you didn't...

You decided to opt out of your contract and upstage the biggest game in all of baseball (ironically you weren't playing in it, guess you had to make your mark some other way.)

And that was your decsion, unless your just totally Scott Boras's puppet.

Now, after all this were suppose to believe that A-Rod decided "you know what, I like the Yankees! Maybe that Scott Boars guy is a dick. Let's do this face to face without my agent, the one who I pay my valuable money to."

In the words of Michelle Tanner, Puhhhleazzzeeee

This is A-Rods and Boras's ultimate middle finger to all of baseball.

Pop Quiz

How do you get the Yankees involved in a process of bidding for A-Rod when they have already stated the won't negotiate with him (post opt out)?

By doing exactly what A-Rod is now.

This is Scott Boras's most genius move to date. By taking himself out of the picture it let's A-Rod look like the good guy. It also more importantly leads all the other teams in the A-Rod sweepstakes to believe the Yanks are a legitimate bidder.

For Scott Boars, that's exactly what he needs. Without teams like the Yankees, Mets, Cubs and Red Sox involved he might not have been too pleased with the A-Rod bidding.

But Boras, the genius he is, has goading the Yankees back into the picture.

Don't get your hopes up Yankee fans. A-Rod cares about only one thing; money. He doesn't care about his legacy and he doesn't care about pinstripe pride.

This is all just a ploy and I hope the only money the Yankees spend on A-Fraud is his plane ticket to California.

Answer me this - is there anything A-Rod can possibly do right now that he won't get criticized for? This is the best player of this era we're talking about...and yet, anytime he does anything, he gets killed by everybody.
