96.1 TCX Asks: Where Will Randy Moss End Up?

by user DNL

I was just on the radio in Wisconsin (96.1 TCX) talking about the Chunky Soup Curse, and the show's host, Gregg Owens, asked me if I thought Randy Moss would end up a Packer.

I told him that I think the Oakland Raiders are dysfunctional, and that I have absolutely no idea.   But -- I told him that once I got off the air, I'd ask the ArmchairGM community if they had any ideas.  And that I'd come back on next week to report back.  He thought it was a great idea.

So, here's your chance to tell Wisconsin what you think of the Raiders, Randy Moss, and the Packers.  Be insightful, be funny, and do us all proud.

MMm sounds like a cheap plug to get yourself some more listeners on the Radio there DNL...

The Raiders are an absolute mess tuck about 35 years in the past, with an outdated management, player, and tatical philosophy. They truely have no idea what direction they want to go in with the #1 pick, or with any of the players they have on their team.

I doubt they will work to move Moss although that would be the smart move for them. If they do move them, I just dont see GB pulling the trigger on that deal. Something about it just seems wrong.

I also have a feeling that Al Davis would love to see Calvin Johnson and Randy Moss on the same field, so be on the lookout for that.

I'm in the CJ/Moss camp, too. But I have my own theory... coming.

I think Moss is gone, because Al Davis wants to make headlines. I think he'll trade him to Washington, because Daniel Snyder wants to make headlines. I have no idea what the Skins will give back.

Solid idea DNL, but the only way the Skins could pull that trade off would be, to give up their 6th draft pick and trade off a Cliton Portis to clear the cap room.

I think Moss stays. Oakland is all about stretching the field, which of course Moss does. Doesn't matter how dysfunctional he is there—that's just par for the course in Oakland.

Whatever decision they make likely won't come until after the draft. If the Raiders go with Johnson then that probably means not only is Moss gone but they already have a deal done for him. No way a pyscho like Moss will play second fiddle to a rookie. If they decide to go with Russell, then Moss likely stays. Where he ends up is anybody's guess, although I don't see him going to Green Bay. He likely will end up somewhere where his dysfunctionality will blend in with the team, like Atlanta. You know what would be really funny? If Dallas dumps TO (they will) and he ends up in Green Bay, and Moss ends up in Dallas.
