Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy. That way, he can coach men. Cuz HE'S A MAN! HE'S 40!

Also, Georgia Tech fired Chan Gailey and hired Navy's Paul Johnson. So he's now FORMER Georgia Tech head coach.

you can take Philly, Carolina, St. Louis, San Fran, Denver and probably (Maybe) Cinci and Baltimore off that list...there won't be as many as you think...

It's POSSIBLE openings, highly unlikely they'll be the case, but you never know, they could pull a San Diego like in 2006. I'm feeling a lot of teams will lean away from college coaches after this whole Petrino thing also.

i can read too...but if you want possible openings why not put dallas up, because phillips could be dropped...

Andy Reid and Jeff Lurie have already committed to 2008 and on...there's a distinct possibility...reid will be the HC in '08...

Most of the jobs you listed had people like john clayton suggesting they should fire their HC, no anyone legitimate...i hate when the media does this...

and when people fall for it...

I'm here to tell you now: if you think it's even a slight chance that Mike Shanahan is getting fired in Devner then you are literally without a clue of how the Broncos are run.

Honestly I think only Washington, Atlanta (Obviously), St. Louis, Cincinnati, and possibly Miami depending on Parcells have a chance to hire new coaches This was meant more to focus on actual coaching candidates rather than teams

I don't see Gundy leaving OSU, especially after what the Falcons went through. I would like to see Gailey on the sidelines. After all, the man did coach for Dallas and he knows the Atlanta area. Shannahan gone? Not really. The Broncos haven't been really good since this fellow named Elway left. If anything, the Falcons need to bring Jim Mora back (will settle for the senior Mora but I would pick the younger) or Dennis Green. Mike Sherman is a good choice... Martz? He kinda destroyed the Rams. Not sure about Mike Singletary... granted, he was a pretty good player and does deserve a shot, if not with the Falcons, then with another club.
