The 1992 Houston Astros finished with a record of 81-81. They scored 608 runs and belted 96 home runs to go along with a .246 batting average. Eric Anthony provided the power for the team with 19 homers. Jeff Bagwell was the best run producer with 96 RBI. Steve Finley led the team with 177 hits for a .292 average. Steve Finley had a great year on the basepaths with 44 stolen bases.

The team allowed 668 runs and had a team ERA of 3.74. Doug Jones led the pitching staff with 11 wins and 36 saves. Pete Harnisch struck out 164 batters to lead the team.
