The 1980 Seattle Mariners finished with a record of 59-103. They scored 610 runs and belted 104 home runs to go along with a .248 batting average. Tom Paciorek led the team in home runs with 15. The offense was powered by Bruce Bochte, who led the team with 78 RBI and 156 hits. Julio Cruz had a great year on the basepaths with 45 stolen bases.

The team allowed 793 runs and had a team ERA of 4.38. Glenn Abbott led the team with 12 wins. Floyd Bannister racked up 155 strkeouts to lead the team. Shane Rawley was the team's best fireman, with 13 saves.
