The 1980 Montreal Expos finished with a record of 90-72. They scored 694 runs and belted 114 home runs to go along with a .257 batting average. The offense was powered by Gary Carter, who led the team with 29 home runs and 101 RBI. Andre Dawson led the team with 178 hits for a .308 average. Ron LeFlore had a great year on the basepaths with 97 stolen bases.

The team allowed 629 runs and had a team ERA of 3.48. Steve Rogers and Scott Sanderson were tied for the team lead in wins with 16. Steve Rogers struck out 147 batters to lead the team. Woodie Fryman led the team with 17 saves.
