The 1966 Cleveland Indians finished with a record of 81-81. They scored 574 runs and belted 155 home runs to go along with a .237 batting average. Rocky Colavito led the team in home runs with 30. Fred Whitfield knocked in 78 runs. Leon Wagner led the team with 153 hits for a .279 average.

The team allowed 586 runs and had a team ERA of 3.23. Sonny Siebert led the team with 16 wins. Sam McDowell led the team with 225 strikeouts. Dick Radatz was the team's best fireman, with 10 saves.
