The 1966 Atlanta Braves finished with a record of 85-77. They scored 782 runs and belted 207 home runs to go along with a .263 batting average. The offense was powered by Hank Aaron, who led the team with 44 home runs and 127 RBI. Felipe Alou led the team with 218 hits for a .327 average.

The team allowed 683 runs and had a team ERA of 3.68. Tony Cloninger and Ken Johnson were tied for the team lead in wins with 14. Tony Cloninger struck out 178 batters to lead the team. Clay Carroll led the team with 11 saves.
