The 1955 Brooklyn Dodgers finished with a record of 98-55. They scored 857 runs and belted 201 home runs to go along with a .271 batting average. The offense was powered by Duke Snider, who led the team with 42 home runs, 136 RBI, and 166 hits.

The team allowed 650 runs and had a team ERA of 3.68. Don Newcombe led the pitching staff with 20 wins and 143 strikeouts. Ed Roebuck was the team's best fireman, with 12 saves.
