Justin Gatlin (United States) broke the 100m World Record, running it in 9.76 seconds, beating the previous record by Asafa Powell (Jamaica) by 0.01 seconds.

Does anyone else think this is BS? Can we really measure something to the 100th of a second to any degree of accuracy?

I think they use lasers and such, and calculate when each laser was broken (with computers) to get the correct time. I don't think they just use a stopwatch anymore.
