' Laramie , WY – Wyoming Cowboy head football coach Joe Glenn has resigned to pursue a career as a performance artist. During a game over the weekend Green caused a furor when he gave Utah head coach, Kyle Whittingham “the finger” after Whittingham, with the Utes leading 43-0, called for an onside kick (which was successful).Contributing to Whittingham’s decision may have been Glenn’s “guarantee” of a victory over Wyoming during the preceding week. The Cowboys lost 50-0.
“I kept hearing," said Glenn, "that everybody who heard about the finger and the guarantee was saying, ‘You can’t make this stuff up.’ But I did! I do stuff like that all the time. So before you knew it, these agents from CAA in Hollywood called and told me I was funny and had a great future in something called Performance Art. The way I figure, you only go around once, so I’m going to California!”
